After the Flood



April 17, 2014. This is the pond just outside my office the day after the flood. It got cold last night and the surface froze, and then as the water receded we get what you see here - a thin layer of ice draped over everything like a crispy blanket. I watched and listened to them collapse as the sun came out (it's all mlted now).

March 22, 2024. Print by someone known as 'Ryan 100' in our room at the Brookstreet. I liked it, through it looked like it was water damaged. It was still the best art in the room. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home.
