Full Jazz / Reflection Tree



October 6, 2010. This palm tree is at the side of the conference centre here in Curitiba. As I explained to people here, I wanted to go photograph some trees in order to relax before my two-hour Q&A on connectivism this afternoon. The session, which was completely unscripted, went really well, I thought. I went "full jazz" on theory - that is, felt free to dive deep without holding back because it might be too difficult (the term "full jazz", which I coin here as used this way, is an homage to the hotel where I'm staring, the Slaviero Full Jazz hotel - yes, it's a fully themed concept hotel. Love it).

March 22, 2024. Print by someone known as 'Ryan 100' in our room at the Brookstreet. I liked it, through it looked like it was water damaged. It was still the best art in the room. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home.
