The House


April 23, 2016. This is what the Moncton house looks like now. Compare with what it looked like when we moved out. The porch is new, and the oak tree is gone (it will be replaced). Much nicer roof, Big improvements on the inside too; the wiring was completely redone and some walls and ceilings refinished. Today (and for the next few days) I'm painting inside. March 22, 2024. Print by someone known as 'Ryan 100' in our room at the Brookstreet. I liked it, through it looked like it was water damaged. It was still the best art in the room. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
