February 8, 2018. Our local Esso station got a facelift over the last few months and now looks all shiny and new. It's where I go some time to get gas. Like today, for example, on the way home (hence the deep evening light) from an ordinary day in the office. https://flic.kr/p/24bG6QF

Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
